CIA.IS
CIA.IS, established as KÍM (Kynningarmiðstöð íslenskrar myndlistar) in 2005, is primarily funded by the Icelandic Ministry of Culture. For the first time in history the main Icelandic art institutions and artist associations founded together an institution which tends to promote Icelandic art.
Center
The center at Hafnarstraeti 16 – a cooperation of CIA.IS and SÍM
(Association of Icelandic Visual Artists) –- is the first and only location
on Iceland, where the visitor can gather all relevant and up-to-date information
on Icelandic artists and art institutions.
It is open for visitors on Mon – Fri 10 a.m – 4.p.m.
